Elaine Burke is a graduate of University College Cork where she studied law. She qualified as a Solicitor in April 2007 having completed her training with JW O'Donovan. Elaine works in the commercial and corporate department of the Firm. Elaine advises on corporate governance and compliance, shareholder arrangements, intellectual property licence agreements and other general commercial matters. She frequently advises on investment projects and has represented a variety of companies raising investment as well as venture capital investors. Elaine also works in the insolvency department advising clients on corporate recovery matters and representing liquidators of insolvent companies.

Outside of law, Elaine is a keen golfer and has represented Cork at senior level in camogie. She was captain of Cork's All Ireland winning side in 2005.
